When temperatures drop below freezing public roads are gritted so that your customers and staff can reach your premises. Once they turn off the public road are your premises safe.
The HSE 1992 Act states that in abnormal weather conditions arrangements should be made to reduce risk from snow and ice. Meeting these conditions can involve gritting and snow clearing.
We will survey your site and provide a fixed price quote on a per visit basis. There are no up-front costs or retainer fees payable . We also provide you with Risk Assessments once you confirm that you require our services.
Winter Maintenance Services
We can grit all traffic and pedestrian routes on your site, or provide a snow clearing surface.
Once you have registered with us you will not have to worry about your winter maintenance. Using the latest online forecast systems we will notify you by e-mail during the afternoon of freezing weather conditions so that a plan for that night or the following morning can be put in place. Generally, we carry out gritting operations during evenings and early mornings to avoid any disruption to you during working hours.
We currently undertake Gritting and Snow Clearance at a number of Health Centre, Schools and Office Premises. During recent snow we have cleared the snow on a number of occasions to keep the health centre open as part of the Covid Vaccine Programme.
Other services that we can provide include supplying and re-filling Grit Bins as well as supplying Rock salt to households and Business Premises.
